Who's behind 990prep ?
I got 550 on my first TOEIC®. My English was decent, B1 at best. And more than that, I had no idea how to prepare. I vaguely knew the format, and that was it. I was lost, like most students who are told to hit a score without ever being shown how to get there.
So I did the work nobody does: I reverse-engineered the TOEIC®. I broke down every part, gathered the strategies that actually work, the tricks, the grammar rules that genuinely matter for the exam. Then I trained under real conditions: timed mock tests, exercises I corrected one by one. My stats showed me exactly where I was losing points, and I worked on my weaknesses one at a time. My English improved right along with my method. Result: 965.
