Listening Section

The Listening section lasts 45 minutes and contains 100 questions. Audio recordings are played only once. This section is divided into four parts:

Part 1: Photographs (6 questions)

You see a photograph and hear four descriptions. You must choose the description that best matches the image. This part tests your ability to match a spoken statement to a visual scene.

Part 2: Question-Response (25 questions)

You hear a question or statement followed by three possible responses. You must choose the most appropriate response. Questions cover common workplace situations.

Part 3: Conversations (39 questions)

You listen to dialogues between two or three people, then answer multiple-choice questions. Each conversation is followed by three questions. Topics include meetings, phone calls, and office discussions.

Part 4: Talks (30 questions)

You listen to monologues such as announcements, voicemail messages, or presentations, then answer three questions per recording. This part assesses your understanding of longer speech.

Reading Section

The Reading section lasts 75 minutes and contains 100 questions. You manage your time freely in this section. It is divided into three parts:

Part 5: Incomplete Sentences (30 questions)

Each question presents a sentence with a missing word. You choose from four options the word that correctly completes the sentence. This part tests vocabulary and grammar.

Part 6: Text Completion (16 questions)

You read short texts (emails, letters, articles) with blanks to fill. Each text has four questions. Some questions ask you to choose a full sentence to complete the passage.

Part 7: Reading Comprehension (54 questions)

You read various documents (emails, notices, articles, forms) and answer comprehension questions. This part includes single passages and multiple passage sets (double and triple passages) to compare.
